12 Disney Christmas Songs!

Where have the last few days gone!? I meant to post this last Friday ... but Christmas took over! :P Better late then never though right!? :P

Here are 12 of my favourite Disney Christmas Tunes all in the one video! They come from the 1988 Disney Sing Along Tape "Very Merry Christmas Songs". It was a fundamental part of my childhood Christmases!

The list shows 13 songs but the last plays over the credits so I'm counting it as 12 full songs! :P Hope they help squeeze out that last bit of Christmasyness before the New Year! :)

Hope everyone had a Magical Christmas!! :D

11 Christmassy Disney Princesses!

I came across these wonderful Winter Princesses on DeviantArt! They come from Selinmarsou!

Aren't they just beautiful! I love all the little details! A lot of thought has gone into these gorgeous Disney Princesses ready for winter ... and Christmas! :D I also love that Rapunzel has her short brown hair! :)

But Manda ... there are only 10 'Official' Disney Princesses! ... yes I know :P but I always thought Princess Giselle from Enchanted should have been included! It breaks my heart to see no Enchanted merchandise what so ever in the Parks ... and virtually nothing outside the parks! Enchanted is one of my favourite Disney movies and Giselle is one of my favourite princesses!

So ... I'm including her :) She is one of the most sweet, kind and darling princesses there is! :) Keeping with the Christmas theme I found these gorgeous photos of an awesome Giselle cosplay in the snow! These come from DeviantArt again, this time from Kaikida :) They are simply stunning!

This will be my wedding dress! lol!

Happy Thursday everyone!! :D Please come back tomorrow for my final post in this series! :D

12 Days of Disney Christmas! Day 10!

I know this isn't Wordless Wednesday at all! lol! But it does fit in with the theme - "Joy!" Because I love to make yummy goodies in the kitchen! And I figured the sooner I share this recipe the better so that y'all might be able to try it in time for Christmas! :)

10 Cinderella's Christmas Mice Truffles!

I haven't done a recipe in SO long! Simply because I just haven't had the time lately! But when I came across these on DisneyFamily.com I just had to try them :)

BUT then I found a very similar recipe in a Christmas cook book that had coconut in it ... and I love coconut! So I used a different recipe but they were still the same cute Cindarella's Christmas Mice Truffles! :) Don't ask me what's christmassy about mice shaped truffles ... they're in Christmas cookbooks for some reason and they just so happen to relate to Cinderella too so I'm rolling with it! :P

Here's what you will need :)

I changed some ingredients a little - I used pink food dye instead of red and I used Strawberry laces instead of liquorice laces :) I picked up some white chocolate buttons to make ears and could only get white cake-decorating balls but they work just as good as silver :)

I actually doubled the ingredients to make loads of mixture because they sounded so yum! :) I only made 10 mice for this post and then used the rest to roll into regular truffle ball shapes :)

Mix the icing sugar and condensed milk in a big mixing bowl.

TIP! It's easier to colour the mixture if you colour the condensed milk first and then mix in the icing sugar! I made these a second time and tried it and it worked! In this attempt I tried to colour it after all the ingredients were mixed together and it was really hard! You'll see further on! :P

Then mix in the coconut.

If you want, add some food colouring! :) The mixture was quite stiff and hard to mix, so I transferred small amounts into a smaller bowl for mixing in food colouring - it was much easier! :)

This is definitely the tricky part! :P To make a body, dip a spoon in some warm water and let the water drip off. Lift a spoonful of the mixture and pat it smooth on top. Turn the spoon over and drop the shape onto some plastic food-wrap. It might need a little help to slide off but be patient! :) Pinch the thinner end of the shape to create a nose. Then decorate your mouse!

Add 2 candy balls for eyes, and make some ears with the chocolate buttons. Snip a small section of red lace and push it under the back of the body for a tail :) Leave the mice to harden and then peel them off the plastic wrap. You can put them in the fridge to speed up this process :) I kept mine in the fridge because I found that they softened and stuck to the plate I had them on at room temperature.

You can use different sized spoons to make little and large mice! :)

And here they are! 10 Cinderella's Christmas Mice Truffles!

Trust me ... these are amazing! I put them out after dinner and they didn't last long at all! :P

If you get the chance (time is like gold dust this time of year I know!) definitely try these out! It's super easy, there's no 'cooking' involved and it's easy enough for kids to join in too! :)

Ok, so I'm cheating a little with this one - posting some Disney cartoons from Youtube isn't exactly creative! :P But I do hope that if (just like me) you're feeling like Christmas is coming too fast because you're so busy! ... you can take a short while to yourself to watch these classic Disney Christmas cartoons! They're a huge part of my childhood and always make me stop and take the time to actually feel the magic of Christmas :) I hope they do the same for you! :)

6 Disney Christmas Tree Ornaments!

These all belong to my mum! (Lucky! :P) 1st up is this one from ... you guessed it ... Disneyland Paris!

Look at the detail in the castle! It's awesome! :D

2nd is this cute snowflake themed Mickey! This was from Disneyland Paris too :)

3rd - oh look! Another one from Disneyland Paris! lol!

4th is this gorgeous Cinderella one! I think it's from Disneyland Paris but I'm not 100% on this one! :P

5th is another Cinderella one! This one is definitely from Disneyland Paris :) I got it as a souvenier for my mum when I went with my boyfriend last year :)

And last but not least! Stitch dressed as Elvis! I got this in the Disney Store in Florida Mall in October! Just as well, because I haven't seen it back home in the Uk Disney Store! :) We're big Stitch fans in our house so it was perfect for our tree!

When I get my own Christmas Tree I'd love to have loads of different Disney ornaments! I love trees with lots of variety on them :)

I also love BIG Christmas Trees! Like the ones in Disneyland Paris! I haven't been to Dlp at Christmas time yet :( But thanks to some wonderful Disney bloggers like Designing Disney I can see it from the comfort (and warmth!) of home! :D Check out some of the photos from the Designing Disney

Imagine having a tree so big you could use Duffy Bears as ornaments! Like this one from the Disneyland Hotel in Dlp! Isn't this a beautiful photo!? :)

But if you want a BIG Christmas Tree - you can't get much bigger than the 80ft tall one at Town Square on Main Street U.S.A! Check it out!

Oh how I wish I could see this in real life! ... Someday! :D

Please be sure to check out the rest of the Designing Disney

I'll be back tomorrow with Day 7! I can't believe how fast Christmas is coming! YEY! lol! :D

My Favourite Shopping Experience at Disneyland Paris!

Welcome to those of you joining me from The Disney Chick and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd  stop on our Magical Blogorail!

This month Paula has chosen a wonderful topic - A favourite, unique or special shopping experience(s) at a Disney Theme Park or Resort! Mine takes place in (surprise surprise) Disneyland Paris!

I LOVE wandering the shops on Main Street U.S.A in Disneyland Paris ... I could spend hours just looking! But one of my favourite experiences was in 2010 with my bf :) We were looking in the jewellery cabinets in the back of Harrington's Fine China & Porcelains - I spotted some super cute Mickey Mouse charms!

Source: Andy Thornton

I already had a charm bracelet on that my mum bought for me ... and I'd been waiting to find a Disney charm for it :)My favourite was a small Mickey Mouse head made from sparkly crystals :) It was perfect!

I also saw a Mickey Mouse Shorts charm and a Mickey Glove charm - dilemma time! I couldn't make up my mind what one to buy ... they were around 50 Euros each if I remember right ... and I just never spend big amounts of money on myself!

But bf came to the rescue! In true Prince Charming style he offered to buy me the charms ... all three! He loved them too and said they would look super awesome on my bracelet :P I felt so spoiled that day! :)

I still wear the charms now! And they're definitely my favourites!

Thank you for joining me today! Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Mommy Mouseketeer!
